HOME TRENDS & DESIGN, LTD MOVES HIGH POINT SHOWROOM TO INTERHALL
Home Trends & Design, Ltd (HTD), based in Austin, Texas, was launched in July 2005. HTD has announced its new showroom in High Point, located on the 1st floor of IHFC Interhall , Space H108. HTD was chosen for the premiere booth in Interhall (IHFC), High Point's most prestigious venue.
Hank Cravey, founder and director, has spent the last year designing, developing and sourcing the new collections which are all manufactured and crafted in Asia. Cravey anticipates the move to Interhall to be a great opportunity and will propel the young company to the next level. Interhall is positioned in the market to offer the newest, hottest and best home furnishings to the buyers. Interhall seems to be a very natural fit for the company because that is exactly what HTD brings to the market; the latest home trends and designs.
Hank Cravey has been designing furniture since 1999 and is a member of the American Society of Furniture Designers (ASFD). He is an expert in the import industry, including furniture design, international import logistics and international manufacturer relations. Cravey has designed several lifestyle collections which are currently found Top 100 Companies and his designs were recognized at both the 14th and 15th Annual Arts Awards in Accent Furniture. Mr. Cravey holds his CPA certification and Bachelors in Business Administration from the University of Texas in Austin.
Hank Cravey and Dhaval Lodhavia have successfully secured exclusive manufacturing for their furniture lines which are imported from India and China. Their design team travels to Asia to partner with manufacturers to incorporate key aspects that portray the HTD brand. Their custom collections are composed of aesthetic designs drawing from rich cultural influences, quality materials, solid construction techniques and rich finishes that allow the beauty of the grain to stand out.
HTD offers the home furnishings market fresh new functional designs of solid woods that feature hand-crafted quality which is not mass produced. The HTD products are mid to high end and by purchasing direct containers the buyers will be able to maximize profitability. The product range includes casegoods, occasional tables, dining tables, accent pieces, leather upholstery, and a vibrant mix of accessories and textiles.
The HTD signature collections include: Pennsylvania, made of Indian Rosewood, which is an updated shaker style with a rich chestnut finish; Ethnic Loft, inspired by the cubist movement, features geometric accent furniture made of acacia wood with a natural finish; French Country, inspired by French Provincial, made of Indian rosewood with an antique rubbed colonial finish; New York and Owen which are modern, natural and organic with a natural finish.
The HTD mission is to build relationships through excellence of product, integrity of business practices, and premier customer service. The HTD service organization is characterized by attention to detail, product knowledge and marketing support to ensure success for its retail and catalog customers.
The target HTD customer is a mid-to-high end retailer interested in consistent service, guaranteed quality, and the latest trends and designs, all at the sharpest direct import pricing available.
