Industry veterans Hank Cravey and Dhaval Lodhavia founded Home Trends and Design, LTD. in 2005 to create a multi-national company committed to meeting the highly personal and custom needs of interior designers and retailers with design-savvy consumers.

We welcomed custom orders and requests for personalized designs.

We have a wide variety of hand-made products, custom manufacturing and one-of-a-kind pieces, the designer business is very important to us. Even our production pieces are entirely hand-made so they each have unique qualities and are appealing to a wider variety of interior designers.

We see ourselves as a partner for the design trade. We can all benefit from working together to move furniture design in the USA forward.

HTD offers customers compelling designs, often inspired by nature, crafted by hand from environmentally friendly materials and sold at attractive price points. Much of the product design, finishes, sizes, packaging and delivery stems from listening to customers requests.

Key product categories are dining, occasional, accent furniture and upholstery, combined with a broad range of one-of-a-kind architectural elements and antiques.

Our manufacturing and distribution. U.S. headquarters are located in Austin, Texas. The headquarters for our Asian manufacturing operations are in India. We have developed a highly synergetic working relation-ship. Our goal for every design is that it achieves an artistic balance of proption, scale and finish that accentuates the beauty of natural materials.

At Home Trends and Design we are committed to environmental protection by developing green sources for products and using environmentally friendly finishing techniques. Many of the collections are crafted entirely from recycled timbers. Others are made from renewable wood sources harvested in accordance with governmental certification.

Home Trends and Design (HTD) is a brand of home furnishings focused on the growing "Globally Aware" segment of consumers. Products have a rustic-contemporary, urban-chic feel, with Ethnic undertones. A mix of textures, styles, and finishes; collections range from the ultra-organic Ethnic Loft collection to the more mainstream transitional Colonial Plantation. The new HTD collection has started to dominate the market in hardwood furniture designs from India, featuring designs that are hand-made with a rustic feel, but with a style that is as comfortable in a stately mansion as in a urban loft.

Founder and president of HT&D, Hank Cravey has been designing furniture since 1999. He is currently designing a complete line of furniture, textiles and accessories which is set to debut at the WMC, Las Vegas in July 2005. He is an expert in the import industry, including furniture design, international import logistics and international manufacture relations. Prior to HT&D, Cravey was a partner of Imports by Four Hands where he was responsible for the nancial aspects as well as product development. Cravey has designed several lifestyle collections which are currently found in Top 100 Companies such as Crate & Barrel, Z Gallerie, Storehouse, Gabberts and CS Wo & Sons. His designs were recognized at both the 14th and 15th Annual Arts Awards in Accent Furniture. Mr. Cravey holds his CPA certification and a Bachelors in Business Admin. from the Univ. of Texas in Austin.
